Black Magic Killers - Peter Haining
Black Magic Killers - Peter Haining
"The devil made me do it!' Often enough, 'Satanism' provides a handy excuse for killers whose crimes have motives which are, in fact, all too ordinary. Undoubtedly, though, some killers have been motivated by their twisted beliefs, including: Ricky Kenso and Jimmy Troiano, Long Island schoolboys who tortured and killed a friend because he refused to say he loved Satan.
Friends of Hecate, a Satanic group, linked by terrified locals to mystery deaths in Clapham Wood in rural Sussex, England. Tracy Wigginton and Lisa Ptaschinski, members of a Satanic lesbian cult in Brisbane, Australia, who killed a man to drink his blood. The Butcher of Mons, the Belgian serial killer who played a grisly game with the police, dumping bags filled with body parts in places with chillingly evocative names, such as the Fleuve Haine, or River Hate.
Peter Alexander Haining was a British journalist, author and anthologist who lived and worked in Suffolk. Born in Enfield, Middlesex, he began his career as a reporter in Essex and then moved to London where he worked on a trade magazine before joining the publishing house of New English Library.
