Okay, so we realise that there’s still a good chunk of 2017 left, but we’re calling it right here and now: Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me by Your Name is the year’s best film. We simply can’t imagine anything topping this immaculate adaptation of André Aciman’s 2007 novel of the same name, with Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamat hanging out, relaxing and flirting in the sun-blushed climes of northern Italy.

For our latest print edition, we spoke to the people who helped bring this wondrous romantic tale to life on the big screen, and commissioned Madrid-based artist Luis Mazón to create an illustrated cover which beautifully captures the distinct tone and spirit of the film.
