Papier is a DIY black-and-white skate zine from Sydney, put together by photographer Cameron Markin. The zine takes a personal, community-driven approach—one issue was dedicated entirely to a late friend, Nick, with tributes from those who knew him.

Markin grew up in Sydney, moved to Melbourne as a teen, and balanced odd jobs with skate filming and photography. His work has since appeared on the covers of Slam Skateboarding, as well as in Thrasher and Transworld. Known for his raw, honest style, he often goes to extreme lengths for a shot, bringing the same DIY spirit to Papier that defines his skate photography.
