The Face on Mars - Brian Crowley

Two NASA scientists became haunted by a number of NASA camera frames that appeared to show a face staring out into space.

They devised a computer image-enhancement technique which showed that the face had distinctive human features and expression, including eye pupils and a pharaoh-type headdress. This is hardly the product of natural erosion.

It is the Sphinx Face of Mars.
