Here I would like to present you with a picture showing the process that transformed

"Sidhartha", the young crowned prince, into

Buddha, the Enlightened One.

One day, Sidhartha was being driven in his horse-drawn chariot. The sight of human life in four different conditions made the young prince ponder over the question of Life, Suffering and the Salvation.

First of all, the sight of an old man strugglingly along with the help of a stick filled his heart with remorse and the thought of the helplessness of an ageing body stung him. Soon he witnessed an ailing man suffering from the pain and agony of illness. Next his moving chariot came across a corpse being taken for cremation. Finally the sight of an ascetic in meditation drew him into deep thought and, showed him the way. To get rid of the cycle of suffering, the cycle of birth and rebirth, he thought, the world has to be renounced.

Therefore, he resolved to seek the ways to peace and Eternal Happiness. Thus the Quest was started for the welfare of the creatures in this mundane world, for helping the sufferers, young and old, boy and girl, man and woman. Ajar is also looking for a unique way-that is the way of Buddha.
