Bad Meat #3, self-published by underground artist Jim Blanchard in 1997, continues the legacy of the black-and-white erotic anthology begun with Bad Meat #1–2 from Eros Comix. Limited to just 1,000 copies, this issue features a full-color cover with black-and-white interiors and runs about 32 pages, sized approximately 6.75″ × 10.25″. It includes contributions from underground luminaries such as Jim Blanchard, Dennis P. Eichhorn, Rev. Ivan Stang (of Church of the SubGenius), Chris Kegel, Jim Goad, and Pat Moriarity.

Fans of gonzo, transgressive comix will find the content fittingly eclectic: erotic pin-ups, stream-of-consciousness storytelling, and shock-value visuals that push boundaries and challenge expectations. The tone is irreverent and raw—anchored in Blanchard’s outsider approach and Eichhorn’s autobiographical underground prose. Unlike the earlier Eros releases, this issue feels more personal, more fiercely independent.
