Barrow Wight - Power From The East

This release finds an Eastern Ontario heavy rock band drawing inspiration from the vast mythology of J.R.R. Tolkien, channeling tales of ancient battles, dark forces and heroic quests into a dense, riff-driven sound. Rather than treating Tolkien as simple fantasy imagery, the band builds its songs around the atmosphere and lore of Middle-earth, creating music that feels both epic and grounded in classic hard rock and metal traditions. The striking cover artwork by renowned fantasy illustrator Ian Miller perfectly complements the record’s rugged and otherworldly character.
