Big Brother Issue #47 features Rick Howard in an interview, the Flip Cold Turkey Tour, a look at new Southern California skate parks, and an interview with Jimmy Chadwick. There’s also Organ Trade, The Household Urinal, The Condiment Crap and Kendra’s Kissing Booth, before the magazine heads into music territory with Cypress Hill, Drifting Luke, Altamont, Squat Thrust and Six Finger Satellite.

The regular departments include news, letters, skate flicks, Goddamn AMs, CD reviews, Satan’s Scrapbook and Last Call. A particularly good late-’90s Big Brother contents page, with Rick Howard, Flip, skate parks and a collection of increasingly questionable features that makes the magazine feel much less like a conventional skate publication and much more like whatever the hell Big Brother wanted to be that month.
