Big Brother 44

Issue #44, January 1999 of Big Brother kicks off the year with The Kids Issue, Chet Thomas and a look at the younger generation under the rather ominous heading “Kids.” Things get progressively stranger with “The Unknown Asshole,” “Life of the Party,” Fresno Smooth, W.A.S.P., Nashville Pussy, Necro and Beau Sia. It’s a leaner, earlier Big Brother, but the formula is already firmly in place: skateboarding, characters, music and a healthy disregard for keeping the magazine remotely respectable.
