January 2003’s Big Brother features Adam Alfaro, Ben Krahn, the 1984 Tour and Triple Crown, with plenty of skateboarding packed into the issue alongside Potpourri, Skateflicks, Goddamn AMs and Skate Dolls. There’s also a feature on Mike Vallely, with the issue mixing contemporary skating with a trip back to 1984.

The music and culture coverage gets suitably rowdy with Ted Nugent, Insane Clown Posse and a Punk Page, giving the issue a healthy dose of guitars, noise and questionable taste. A particularly varied contents list, jumping from Adam Alfaro and Ben Krahn to Triple Crown, ICP and Ted Nugent without bothering to explain itself.
