Produced by Jon Holland, The Cinematographer Project revived the concept of the original Cinematographer series by shifting the focus away from individual skaters and onto the filmmakers behind the lens. The video is split into sections by legendary skate filmers including Mike Manzoori, RB Umali, Dan Wolfe, William Strobeck, Chris Ray, Russell Houghten and Chris Middlebrook, each bringing their own filming style, editing rhythm and atmosphere. Instead of feeling like one unified team video, it plays like a massive collage of skateboarding styles, cities, personalities and eras colliding together.

Rather than chasing one specific mood, The Cinematographer Project works as a snapshot of skateboarding itself in the early 2010s, documenting everything from raw street missions and blown-out DIY spots to polished HD filming and experimental editing. It remains one of the most ambitious Transworld videos ever released, functioning less like a traditional skate DVD and more like a moving archive of modern skate filmmaking.
