Homework is the 1997 debut album by Daft Punk, a record that helped drag French house onto the world stage. Stripped back, repetitive and relentlessly funky, it fuses house, techno, acid and disco into long, hypnotic grooves that sound as comfortable in a nightclub as they do blasting through headphones.
Anchored by tracks like "Da Funk," "Around the World" and "Revolution 909," Homework isn't interested in pop polish. Instead, it builds its momentum through subtle changes, infectious rhythms and a raw DIY spirit. Nearly three decades on, it still sounds like the blueprint for a huge chunk of modern electronic music.
This release contains a wrap around J card and lyric booklet.
