Hedra - Jesse Lonergan

Hedra by Jesse Lonergan is a science-fiction comic built around a mysterious astronaut and a strange encounter set against a stark cosmic backdrop. The cover depicts a small, pink-suited figure standing before a huge, imposing humanoid figure, surrounded by stars and framed in a rigid grid of panels.

Lonergan’s clean linework and limited colour palette give the book a distinctive, almost diagrammatic look, balancing the scale of the cosmic imagery with a very human, isolated central character. A compact, visually striking piece of independent science-fiction comics.
