Trent Evans started Pass~Port in 2009. "What skateboard companies were doing didn't excite me; everything was lacking a bit of soul. Pass~Port acts as a vessel for skateboarders and creative types, where each can truly express what their interpretation of soul is. Be it the skateboarding or the graphics, it has to ooze jazz."
With his selective and unique approach to skateboarding, Josh Pall joined both the Pass~Port and Nike SB Australia teams in 2012. Nike SB's commitment to 'Support Your Local' sits hand in hand with Pass~Port's idea of "Your Friendly Local Company'.
When Josh connected the two brands the idea of a collaborative project was born and the wheels slowly started turning.
When designing the Pass~Port shoe with Nike SB the choice was easy. Josh knew it must be something that looks and feels Pass~Port: a deconstructed Blazer in a stealth colour way, with fine details such as a waxed canvas coating and a softened ankle collar. The result is a shoe that accurately represents the Pass~Port brand and reflects Josh's attention to detail.
This collaboration not only represents a first between Nike SB and an Australian skateboard company, it also celebrates the arrival of Pass~Port's latest professional skateboarder - Josh Pall.
