Skate Jawn 73 drifts between continents, skate sessions and late-night reflections with a lineup that feels both chaotic and strangely intimate. Cullen and Xan’s trip to Lima with the Legaña crew captures the beauty of travel skating at its rawest, while “Skating is Like Poetry” frames skateboarding as rhythm, timing and expression scratched into concrete instead of paper. Taylor Ballard’s photography brings warmth and grit to the issue, balancing perfectly against “48 Hours in Tampa,” which reads like a sunburnt sprint through one of skateboarding’s most mythologised cities.

CJ Kelly, Nashua Rosales and Keirnan McGinnis each bring their own style and energy, while the zine reviews section keeps Jawn’s deep connection to DIY publishing alive and kicking. The issue folds together skateboarding, art and underground culture without ever feeling overdesigned, keeping everything loose and human. Paris Summerville’s backside 50-50 shot by Mike Bilyeu closes the issue with that perfect Jawn atmosphere: fast movement, rough architecture and the feeling that the best skate moments happen slightly outside the spotlight.
