Slam Skateboarding Australia Issue #29 (April to June 1995) captures Australian skateboarding as it entered a new era, documenting a scene increasingly connected to the rapid progression happening overseas while continuing to build its own identity. With Ben Pappas featured on the cover, this issue combines in-depth interviews, Australian spot coverage and international influences into a snapshot of mid-'90s skateboarding.

The issue's centrepiece is a major Ben Pappas feature, accompanied by interviews with Keith Hufnagel, Ethan Fowler, Neal Hendrix, Adrian Powell and Mark Haslam. Also included are the regular Hot Spot and Backchat sections, artwork in Art Fags, additional skate features, photography and scene reports from around Australia. Packed with street skating, personalities and the DIY spirit that defined the era, Issue #29 is an excellent document of Australian skateboarding in 1995 and an increasingly hard-to-find entry in the classic Slam series.
