THE STRANGEST HUMAN SEX, CEREMONIES AND CUSTOMS describes some of the most unusual and bizarre, gruesome yet fascinating behaviour. The authors believe that cruel and indecent customs were practised all over the world and that it should not be argued one country had better or worse customs than another.
The third in a series of books following the theme of "The Strangest ...", it is dedicated to everyone who wants to fully understand mankind.
Janusz Talalaj was born in Poland but began his education in Ghana (West Africa).
From an early age he was submerged in various cultures and travelled extensively.
After a four year stay in Ghana he returned to Poland, but completed his primary schooling in Iraq where he attended an Arabic, then a United Nations and finally a French school. After he matriculated in Poland he went to Kenya where he studied biology and geography at the University of Nairobi. He graduated in 1987 with a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Adelaide where he also studied anthropology, history and philosophy. He has lectured in Politics at the South Australian Institute of Technology. He has always thoroughly enjoyed studying and being involved in divergent cultures which is attested to by the fact that he has been to over fifty countries and can communicate in over a dozen languages.
Professor Stanislaw Talalaj, his father, lectured in pharmacognosy at various universities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He has always been fascinated by other cultures and travelled extensively. He has co authored five books. The most recent co-authored with his son is THE STRANGEST ANIMALS IN THE WORLD.
