This book is non-technical. It is intended for ordinary readers not having any special expertise in Buddhist studies or in Buddhist canonical languages. Original language terms have therefore been kept to a minimum and foot notes have been avoided. In brief, it is hoped that this book will serve as the beginning of its readers' Buddhist education.
