Vassafor- Obsidian Codex

Vassafor's Obsidian Codex is a towering statement of darkness from Auckland's long-running underground extreme metal scene. Blending black metal, death metal and doom into a dense and ritualistic sound, the album moves with the weight of an ancient curse. Tracks such as “Obsidian King,” “Craft of Dissolution” and “Nemesis” unleash waves of savage riffs and cavernous atmosphere, while slower passages add a sense of dread that hangs over the entire record. Rather than relying on speed alone, Vassafor create a suffocating environment where every song feels like part of a larger occult ceremony.
