VIZ #3 is a gloriously scrappy early issue that helped establish the comic's reputation for mixing underground DIY energy with outrageous tabloid parody. Horror movies, science fiction, police dramas, romance comics, and sensational newspapers are all thrown into the firing line, creating the chaotic blend of satire and juvenile humour that would become Viz's trademark.
